Professional Bio:

Laura Martin has been practicing law since 1991. She began her legal career in Fayetteville, North Carolina with the firm of Barrington & Jones. She relocated with her family to Greenville, South Carolina in 1995 where she practiced with several firms, and as a sole practitioner. In 2005, she helped form Martin & Martin, P.A. Laura focuses her practice on Immigration law. She has helped clients from all over the world with family immigration matters. Laura has experience with Deferred Action, Asylum, Fiancé Visas, Temporary Protected Status, Deportation hearings, Appeals, Work Authorizations, Green cards, Adjustments of Status, Naturalization and Citizenship. She often gives her time to speak to local schools, churches, Hispanic organizations and civic groups about the immigration process and available programs for the undocumented.  

Personal Bio:

Laura is a graduate of Catholic High School in Charlotte, North Carolina. She received her Bachelors’ Degree from UNC-Chapel Hill and graduated from Mercer University School of Law in 1991. Laura and her husband have three children. She enjoys practicing her Spanish whenever possible, watching North Carolina basketball, and spending time with her family.
